Uncovered! - Mark Batterson

Introducing, Mark Batterson!!!

Mark is the Lead Pastor of National Community Church in Washington DC.
I follow his blog here and it is gold!

You can read a bit of his profile here.

Mark is honest and practical - and it great to walk with another pastor on his ministry journey. We have only emailed twice - and once was when he was giving away a copy of his first book to church planters. So he does not know me - but in "blog world" it is like he is an e-mentor.

So thanks, Mark, for who you are!
I know I am better off and our church is a little sharper because of your e-investment.

Here is a snippet from the NCC website:

National Community Church is interdenominational in makeup and strategically aligned with several organizations: the Assemblies of God, the Willow Creek Association and the Mosaic Alliance.
Known for our creative approach to ministry and strong volunteer base, NCC is a multi-site fellowship that meets in both rented and permanent facilities for worship services and church events. We're one church with four locations: Union Station, Ballston Common Mall, Ebenezers Coffeehouse and Georgetown.
At these locations, NCC uses video technology for the message portion of certain services. Most services have a live speaker, usually our pastor. While this technology ensures that everyone hears the same message, each location has a unique environment and community that we proudly embrace.
