Panettone Perfection!

My Mum is a great cook!


And this last Christmas was the first one we have had with her in 5 years. She has been working in China.

So she whipped up a real treat! She got some Italian panettone (like a fruit bread) and then fried it "french-toast" style and then put all this yummy fruit on it. Check out the photo and salivate!!! It was delicious.

PS - what was extra special was the panettone packaging - "San Marco" with artwork of the steeple in Venice. I had my photo taken there, so I will need to dig up that image and post it some time soon. So watch this space!
