We did an awesome thing tonight!

The Tally Room for the State Election counting was at the Convention Centre and it was open to the public for the first time.

So my teenage daughter suggested we go - and we did. It was great to see democracy in action.

We heard Laurence Springborg's defeat and resignation speech (below) and saw Anna Bligh (in red) arrive victoriously with her family.
